Our Sustainability Vision
To conduct our business in an ethically and socially responsible manner to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees, neighbors and the environment.
At TransMontaigne, sustainability has always been at the core of our business philosophy. Since 1995, we have focused on long-term, sustainable operations and disciplined management. This report emphasizes our commitment to provide transparency around how we manage and measure our environmental, social and governance performance.
We are currently collaborating with numerous customers to evaluate growth projects in new lines of renewable fuels and sustainability-related services, such as carbon sequestration and hydrogen opportunities.
TransMontaigne continues to invest in assets to provide multimodal supply chain storage and handling services for all types of renewable fuels. We provide services and storage for ethanol, renewable diesel, biodiesel and renewable feedstocks.
We have taken a leading role in energy transition logistics due to our relationships with major integrated energy companies and global commodity trading firms, our strategically located assets, and our team’s extensive experience and expertise in liquid bulk logistics.
We have well-developed safety and environmental policies and procedures to align operational goals with all applicable federal, state and local safety and environmental regulations. Our in-house staff, in tandem with third-party experts, works closely with our well-trained and qualified terminal operations personnel.
We proactively work to minimize greenhouse gas emissions through process, engineering, and technology solutions. To determine the impact and effectiveness of our efforts, we have made significant investment in developing programs for monitoring and accurately reporting sources of greenhouse gas emissions.
Since 2019, we have given support to the Sabina School and Boarding Home in Southern Uganda through the repurposing of used computers, monitors, and other IT equipment. These technology resources provide valuable learning opportunities for the students and administrative tools for the staff.
Our employees give generously of their time and talents. TransMontaigne employee food and cash donations have helped low-income elderly, military, and single-parent families with basic home necessities and with needed home repairs. We have helped foster-care families with essential supplies and supported local health care facilities.
We measure safety performance by tracking internal metrics, such as incident rates. Our internal safety-audit program incorporates a risk-based, terminal-specific design that helps ensure our continuous compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
We pride ourselves on the development, implementation, and redevelopment of safety and environmental policies. Employees are required to complete safety-related computer-based training courses and pass an examination to demonstrate proficiency.
Our world-class team provides world-class services to world- class customers—and we’re ready to invite the best and brightest along for the journey. Along with a career that’s exciting and interesting, TransMontaigne offers competitive compensation and benefits programs.
We are a terminaling and transportation company with assets and operations in the United States along the Gulf Coast; in the Midwest; in Houston and Brownsville, Texas; along the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers; in the Southeast; and along the West Coast.
